I can't believe Vince is one! I feel like it was yesterday when I was taking his newborn photos.... and now his is one! SO here are some of my favorites from the shoot. Stacy was happy for her first beach photoshoot and it is so exciting to see Vince walking around everywhere.

The Picone's- you will see many shoots of them.... This was Vince's 3 month old shoot. I love the chaos of this photo....

Plum Island is one of my favorite places to shoot.... great family... the kids were heading off to college and the father wanted to capture the time before everything changes.

Boston Commons is a perfect place to shoot.... the flower gardens are amazing! Look for Matt and Sarah's wedding photos this coming september! :)

The Cousins! There is nothing like family...

The sunflowers look like they go on to the edge of the earth.... What an amazing family and photoshoot! If you would like to have your photos taken at the sunflower field plan for August and let me know!

Terrin and Matt were married on Salisbury Reservation... It was a small ceremony but sweet..

After we let him blow out his candles and destroy the cake we put him in the tub for a bath! Boy did he love it! John was one on this day and it was a very special photoshoot!

Ball in the House is an amazing A Capella group! I love working with musicians.... they are always creative and have a vision... which makes my job easier.

These girls are best friends and they did this shoot before one of them moved away forever! I hope they will always remember each other and remain in touch.

Hello Everyone! It has been way too long since my last post! Things really got crazy but we are caught up and ready to reminiss back over 2010. I am going through every event from this year and posting my favorite photo from the shoot... which is a really hard thing to pick just one. A fun shoot for Me too charms... my mother's awesome Hand stamped jewelry company.

My sister Taylor was our model.. it was a great day full of snow and great energy... Taylor is also a great model. :)

Leja and Greg had an amazing wedding at the Publick House Inn in Sturbridge, MA. This was my favorite moment because this photo wasn't posed. It was a mother and her daughter having an amazing moment. They were looking in the mirror... at how pretty she looked. :) It always makes me smile...

Citizen Cope is one of my favorite musicians... if you get a sec check out his music... every cd is awesome! SO when I won tickets to a private concert at the river music hall I was ecstatic! Craig and my Mom came with me and we had an amazing time. I took photos for the river.. but never sent them in. He personally invited me to the sold out show that was later that night... luckily I didn't have plans.. :) So craig and I went and had an amazing time! It was a great experience and I will always remember it cause I have these great photos! :)

A second Me Too Charms shoot... for the catalog. These photos were taken at Nunan's Florists. They were kind enough to let us use their beautiful space!

I have been friends with Pat since college so when he asked me to shoot his wedding I was so excited. I got to really be a part of his wedding and get to know his bride to be... who is super cool. Patrick and Angela had an amazing wedding at the Ocean Cliff Mansion in Newport Rhode Island... It was a very cold day but the photos looked amazing! I love this photo... full of emotion.. with the colors and the kiss... but in fact it was so cold in this spot.. like a wind tunnel! They did an amazing job not showing how cold it was...Congrats guys!

Pam and Eric are an awesome couple. They wanted to do the photos outside but it was a very cold day. So when I took a look around the house for an alternative space I stumbled upon this awesome chic and shabby bedroom and had to do the shoot there! We got some great shots but I love this one- no one is posed and they are interacting with each other.

This shoot was for my favorite musician Craig Range. We all could only meet at a certain time so we planned the shoot for 5pm... it was clear all day and at 4pm it started to downpour and continued to rain the rest of the day! But it created a nice contrast and was really fun! :) I love New York City!

Tom and Helen were so cool! They were fun and creative and easy to work with. Helen had the best shoes on plus she has the cutest dog who looks like Miles! :) He wasn't at the wedding. The wedding was in New York City and the reception was in New Jersey. Which made for amazing skyline pics! I love this photo though... the way they are looking at each other.... you know they are meant to be!

The Twin's Graduation party!! These two are awesome! I hope they are enjoying college. :)

Kailey is the cutest! She is sweet and very charming. This shoot was taken with a white back drop. The hardest part was keeping this active one year old to stay in front of the white background! Which is one of the reasons I don't use a white backdrop! Kids like to move! SO I love the feeling this photo gives...

I had Shawn's mom in my class and when she asked me to take her sons senior photos I was so excited! Shawn was easy to take photos of and was really fun! We went to downtown Newburyport and walked around...

Lexi is one of my long time friend's daughter... this was my favorite photo from the shoot... :)

I have know this family forever! Jess and I went to the same high school and we played field hockey together. Us field hockey girls are still very close. I am thankful that I picked field hockey when I choosing my sport. Anyways.... we had a spaghetti dinner before every game.. and the LaMontage's loved to host it. I got to know her siblings and parents very well. Jess's husband Matt and I have also been friends since high school.

We did these photos on plum island... one of my favorite spots! :)

I am Back!

Wow.....What a great trip I had! I saw great family... my grandma who is now called "grammie" because my cousin has a little boy now and she doesn't want to be called great grandma! LOL! So cute... I miss them dearly and loved my time away. I then got to go to one of the biggest music festivals in the world.... work one day... for a great group of people and then enjoy the many many concerts and festivities. Bonnaroo is an amazing experience and I think everyone should at least try it once. It is a reminder how good we really have it! :)

Well it's my favorite time of year...my birthday and Bonnaroo! I had an amazing birthday with great friends and family and now I am off to my favorite music festival. I will be out of contact for the next 9 days. I leave everything behind and try to relax!

As my first full year as a self employed business women I am happy to say it was a success! This up coming year looks very promising and I am So happy my hard work is paying off! Thank you to all my wonderful clients. It really is amazing being a part of your special moments.

A Gloucester Family shoot

I am not a morning person..... at all... I actually have to wake up an hour and a half before for I leave to go anywhere. But then I got a dog... a 10 month old dog that wasn't house trained. I got up at all hours of the night to walk my dog. Sometimes he got me up at 5am and when I went outside I thought how lucky I was to be able to see this part of the day. A fresh new day with no sounds of the city... just the birds. (this is when I lived in Santa Monica) Anyways... I discovered that doing a photo shoot in the morning is really the best time...especially for a beach shoot. It's not too hot yet, awesome light, and no one is around!!! SO when The Warners told me they were morning people I was so excited. (It is hard to get people to WANT to do a shoot at 8am on a Sunday) So we headed out to Wingersheak beach in Gloucester, MA to get these awesome photos! We stopped at the Salt Marsh on the way... amazing!

The kids were so much fun! You can see their true personality in the photos. Which has to be one of my favorite things.

Pat is my long time friend and when he told me that he was getting married I was so excited for him. I met Angela one time before the wedding and I thought she was very nice. After spending the wedding day with her I was like this girl ROCKS... no wonder Pat was marrying her! She is really so so great! The ceremony was romantic and unique the wedding party was lots of fun and the reception site was breathtaking! They planned this wedding out perfectly.... and it was perfectly them.

I love this shot because it was so in the moment..... the church was full... the look on the grooms face I can't even put into words... he looks like he is in heaven and the brides smile is priceless. This is not a shot I usually get but Father Mike was so great and told me I could go anywhere I wanted to!! The rest of the photos are really great too! I should have more up by next week.

Cape Cod Family Shoot!

I loved photographing this family! I met Pam and Eric at Craig's brothers wedding in Puerto Rico last summer. They wanted to do photos when the kids got a little older.... so here they are all grown up! The kids were so great! Happy and fun and had amazing personalities! I always recommend bringing snacks on the shoots. Kids always love snacks! Also when they are being so well behaved they deserve and extra special gift.... so what better than a candy necklace... which is what Juliette earned after being so great during our shoot.

We did this shoot on Cape Cod in the beautiful town of Falmouth. I love the early spring cape cod feeling this shoot had. It's like when you look out the window after months of cold cold days and think wow today is like heaven... but then you get outside and it is not quite warm enough yet... but still like heaven.

The bedroom photos I think are so so great! The room we did the shoot in was perfect, with blue polkadots and floral prints mixed together..... it created the perfect bedroom for a photo shoot!

Citizen Cope Live @ The River Music Hall

Citizen Cope aka Clarence Greenwood is one of my favorite musicians. I was lucky enough to be invited to see him preform at the river music hall. Which if you don't listen to WXRV 92.5 the river you are missing out!!! They have musicians come and preform a small set and sign the famous walls. He played 4 songs and then we got to ask questions. My eyes went wide with all the questions I have had over time about his music.... why he wrote certain songs.... who they were about... i wanted to pick his brain but I asked only a few. :) He has 3 shows at the Paradise Lounge in Boston which were sold out.... but thanks to Cope I was invited! So thank you Cope. Your really do rock!

Lija and Greg's Wedding Peek!

Lija and Greg got married on February 19, 2009 at the Publick House in Sturbridge Ma. Let me just tell you what an amazing job they did! I would recommend the Publick House to anyone who is looking for a intimate and rustic wedding with all the amenities. Every detail was perfect including the bride and groom. I don't really advertise for this kind of photography but I love it! I love making women feel as good and as beautiful as the women in Magazines! I am looking to have a marathon day of boudoir photography. Before I give the details I should explain.

Boudoir Photography

Definition:

A great deal of "boudoir" is now created in the photographer's studio, where it has become very fashionable to create a set of sensual images for ladies of all ages, shapes, and sizes in the "boudoir style". This often takes the shape of partly clothed images or images in lingerie, and has become more than just a passing fad for brides to surprise their future husbands. Although in the past there were many negative connotations associated with boudoir photography, in recent years the trend has begun to gain momentum, and the entire look of boudoir photography has begun to change.

A Marathon Photography Day: will consist of a photographer (me), a makeup artist, a hair stylist, a botique hotel room, and a point person to make sure everything flows properly. I love this family!!! I first got to know them when I shot friend Ryan from high school's wedding. I got to know his lovely wife and her family. So this is them!! They are so sweet and they care about each other. We did the shoot up at the same place were these two got married. Meredith NH...... We went to this very cool location Laura picked out!

Erin and Chris's Wedding

Chris and Erin's wedding took place at the Crocker Pond House in Bethel ME. The leaves were just turning and it was a warm and drizzling Sunday afternoon. You could feel the raw emotion of love in the air. It made you feel overjoyed and the emotion took your breathe away.... I don't know how else to explain it but it was amazing. The wedding was simple and elegant....... and the most important thing was never overlooked..... Chris and Erin are in love and everyone was there to support them unselfishly.

Chris is my sisters boyfriends brother... and I have heard so much about Chris and Erin!! They have been so welcoming and sweet to my sister it was an honor to photograph their wedding.

Yes it rained at this wedding.... which is always a major downer but not at this wedding. It rained all day off and on and the off parts were when we needed them. The rain gave this wedding a totally new dynamic. It added charm.

One of the things I love about being a wedding photographer is that I get to photograph love. So here are some of my favorites...

I love the way they are barreling down the aisle with such joy and excitement!! Like nothing else in the world matters right now except the for their marriage! It is so romantic.

Emily and Jeff are my aunt and uncle... and the gorgeous girls are my cousins. They are a great family full of excitement and color! Emily and Jeff got Married about this time 11 years ago. My sister and I were bridesmaids and we felt so grown up and cool. Jeff asked Emily to marry him at Maudsley State Park in Newburyport ... so it was very fitting that they did their photos there.

Christine and Jeff are the sweetest couple!!!! I am just so happy for them. They both have great families and great friends.... They are truly blessed. Now they have each other.... and so many people to share their love with. They got married on a beautiful Sunday in September. The leaves were just starting to change color and the sun was shining bright! You could feel the fall in the air mixed with the last day of the summer. They got married in Wakefield and had their reception at the Georgetown Country Club... They were so lucky because as most of us know the GTCC just filed chapter 11 and they were one of the last weddings before this became final. Whew!! Well these are some of my favs... there were so many I loved!

I woke up this morning and thought today is a perfect wedding day and then I photographed an amazing wedding. Jeff and Christine are fabulous and they had a great family and wedding party. They got married at the Georgetown Country Club.

I said I would post one photo before my LA Trip. I leave tomorrow to finish up my packing and be a permanent Massachusetts Resident. Did I mention I LOVE the east coast! More photos will be posted in about a week! :) Congrats Guys!

Craig is moving to Boston!!!!! We are so excited to start our lives in the Boston area but before this happens a last show in Los Angeles will. I wouldn't miss this show! Puerto Rico

I went to Puerto Rico for 8 days this summer and I was blown away. Craig's brother Keith married his dream girl Laura in Puerto Rico. The Wedding was amazing and then followed by ever flowing dancing, drinking and eating! This is a time I will always remember.

Brian was so surprised by his family! Which a lot of them flew out to surprise him! It was so great to spend my time with such a wonderful family. They were so open and kind to me. I think everyone asked me if I had enough to eat!! They made me feel right at home. I had so many favorites so it was hard to pick which ones to put up on the site.

I had to pull over on the way home to take this photo!! It was breath taking.

I meet Heather about 15 years ago at summer camp! She was a superstar there and we all have such good memories from those days. She was just so much fun. So what a joy it was to be her wedding photographer so many years later. She looked gorgeous and shined like a star the whole night! Mike is sweet... I just recently meet him and I think he is perfect for her. They are like penguins... so they had a black and white wedding!
